Bdos and IMF Officially Announce New Deal

Barbados has officially re-entered a program with the International Monetary Fund.

The announcement was made today by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley and IMF’s Mission Chief Bert van Selm at a news conference at IIlaro Court.

Miss Mottley stressed the need for Barbados to continue to seek financial help from the IMF.

She noted the assistance is on generous terms

Meantime Mr. Van Selm believes Barbados is on the way to economic recovery but notes the environment remains challenging
