A man has been shot dead at Lynch’s, St. Philip, the fifth fatal shooting in less than a week, two of them in that parish within a few days.
Residents tonight reported hearing several shots and a man was discovered lying dead on the road.
This follows a man being shot dead in a car also in St. Philip a few nights ago, a man being gunned down and his girlfriend wounded at Keizer Hill, Christ Church, a man being shot in a car at Eagle Hall, and another man being killed at Westbury Road later that same night.
There is growing concern among the public about gun violence as the police say it is the result of reprisals among two or three gangs.
