Barbados’ covid-19 positivity rate continues its downward trend, a day after health officials announced plans to further relax the covid-19 directives.
A total of 280 new COVID-19 cases were recorded from the one thousand and 58 tests carried out yesterday by laboratories across the island.
This represents a positivity rate of 26 percent, well below the more than forty percent rate at the height of the surge just after the end of the Crop Over festival when they were more than seven hundred new cases in one day.
As of yesterday there were 73 people in isolation facilities and 2 thousand, 270 in home isolation.
