Further Relaxation of Bdos Covid-19 Protocols by Month End – Indoor Mask Mandate to Remain

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kenneth George, has announced plans to further relax Barbados’ covid-19 directives, but the indoor mask-mandate will remain in place.

Dr. George made the disclosure while speaking to journalists this morning at the opening ceremony of a Pan American Health Organization training workshop on the side effects of vaccination or immunization.

But Dr. George is concerned about the number of covid-19 related deaths among the aged.

He appeals to the public to closely monitor the elderly who may be vulnerable to covid-19.
