Environment Minister to Barbadians: Stop Removing Sargassum

Minister of Environment and National Beautification, Adrian Forde made an appeal to farmers and others who are removing sargassum seaweed from beaches for farming and other purposes to stop.

He stressed the dangers of sargassum to the health of the public.

Minister Forde was speaking at a Clean and Green project at Kensington Lodge today.

He urges the public to allow the government to remove the sargassum as they have the facilities and the know-how to process it in a safe manner.
