The finalists have been announced for the National Cultural Foundation’s Junior Monarch Competition and there will be no bashment soca segment.
NCF’s CEO Carol Roberts-Reifer made the announcement on VOB’s Fireworks Crop Over program.
Mrs. Roberts-Reifer referred to the criticism of the plan for a bashment segment, calling it a healthy conversation, and explained the rationale for the category.
