ECSTACY USE ON THE INCREASE

Barbados is seeing a developing trend of the use of non-traditional illegal substances and the abuse of prescription drugs.

Minister of Home affairs and Information, Wilfred Abrahams, made this disclosure while speaking at the release of the findings of the 2020 Barbados Drug Information Network report.

Mr. Abrahams says marijuana use among young people is also a major concern.
