The period of the COVID-19 pandemic has also been marked by an increase in scammers, prompting a warning to Barbadians from Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Ryan Straughn.
Mr. Straughn urges the public to steer clear of these fraudulent schemes and to notify the police.
His comments came during the launch of two books on money and wealth authored by Kaye Williams and Vivian Anne Gittens.
