Stores/hotels optimistic about Crop Over business

The resumption of the Crop Over festival this year is good news for this country’s retail stores, especially those in the fabric business

Eddie Abed, Managing Director of Abeds Stores, tells Starcom Network News the return of Kadooment should be a boost to business.

Meantime, hotels who have reported improved occupancy since the start of the year, are hoping that Crop Over continues this momentum into the summer period.
Owner of Little Good Harbour Peter Edwards tells Starcom Network News that business was especially good during the recent cricket test match between West Indies and England, and he expects this uptick in business to continue in to the crop over season.
