Barbados has recorded its third road fatality for the year, a month after the accident occurred in which another man died on spot – then the first road fatality for 2022.

Starcom Network News has confirmed that a passenger in one of the cars involved in that two-car collision has succumbed to his injuries after being hospitalised for more than a month.

Forty four year old truck driver, Joy Moore, of Stewart Hill, St. John was getting a ride to work when the car in which he was a passenger was involved in a collision with another car at the Mount , St. George on January 5th.

He had been in the QEH surgical intensive care unit since then and died last week.

The driver of the car in which he was travelling was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
