Education Chief again emphasises: no anti-church campaign

The return to face to classes at one secondary school is being pushed back by a week, while classes at a primary school will be conducted at several alternative locations due to continuing renovations.

This has been announced by Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, speaking on VOB’s Down to Brass Tacks call-in program.

Dr. Archer-Bradshaw noted that major renovations are taking place at the Coleridge and Parry Secondary School and Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary.

She listed the locations for the Wilkie Cumberbatch classes.

The education chief also again stressed that the no prayer assembly order was not an anti-religion move.

She said that it was based on a recommendation from the Ministry of Health.
