Duguid added to cabinet

Member of Parliament for Christ Church West, Dr. William Duguid, has been added to the Barbados cabinet.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the announcement at this morning’s swearing in of Members of Parliament at State House.

Dr. Duguid a key figure in the previous cabinet was a surprise omission from the line up named by the Prime Minister following last Wednesday’s resounding Barbados Labour Party General Election victory.

He now returns as a senior minister working closely with the Prime Minister.
