The United Progress Party and the People’s party for Democracy and Development, this morning announced their merger to form the new Alliance Party for Progress.
Leader of the PDP, Bishop Joseph Atherley, made the announcement at a press conference this morning.
He added that this was to give the country an alternative to the already established parties.
The new party will be led by Bishop Joseph Atherley and Lynette Eastmond will serve as the deputy.
