Barbados has recorded 17 new covid-19 cases on top of the 17 also reported yesterday.

This, however, coincides with a significant increase in the number of daily tests, often about a thousand a day.

Today’s covid-19 update states that eight males and nine females were identified by the Public Health Laboratory from the one thousand 203 tests conducted yesterday.

There are currently 116 people in isolation.
