A St. Michael family is demanding justice after a 15-year-old girl was badly-beaten, sexually assaulted and robbed over the weekend.

The child had to be taken to hospital after the brutal assault that occurred while she was passing through a track that her family says is located in an area where previously a number of people have been raped, robbed and even murdered.

Starcom Network News is withholding the name and address of the victim who is a minor.

The child and indeed the entire family have been left traumatized by the incident.
