This country’s event promoters and sponsors meet virtually this evening amidst unease in the sector over a party event for visitors that’s reportedly scheduled for July, while locals await word on what they will be allowed to do.
Billed as a virtual promoters and sponsors chat, the zoom meeting from 7pm will discuss events and sponsorship for Crop Over 2021.
Chairman of the Entertainment Association of Barbados Rudy Maloney tells Starcom Network News that players in the sector have serious concerns, especially in light of news about the event called Haywire.
He says the entertainment sector needs clarity on the way forward and that’s what the meeting will highlight.
