Chief Executive Officer of the Copyright Society for Composers, Authors and Publishers (COSCAP), Erica Smith is says local cable operators are refusing to pay royalties for music being used.
She says attempts to get the businesses, including the two telecoms firms to pay-up, has been met with much resistance.
Ms. Smith says COSCAP has had to take legal action against the businesses, the matters are being drawn out.
