Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley has reported to the country that she was among a handful of Barbadians who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
She was speaking during a press conference on Thursday.
Prime Minister Mottley says the restricted movement brought about by the national curfew has helped to bring the number of COVID-19 cases down.
She said while the curfew may be inconvenient, Barbadians need to play their part.
Health Minister, Lt. Col. Jeffrey Bostic says the country now has 29 new cases as a result of testing done yesterday.
Minister Bostic also indicated that there have been some changes to the clusters, as a result of rigorous contact tracing.
