The Barbados Small Business Association reports a challenging year for its members due to the covid 19 pandemic but is hoping for a turn around and believes its already seeing signs of an improvement as the holiday season gathers momentum.
Chief Executive Officer of the SBA Senator Lynette Holder tells Starcom Network News, that some recent loan disbursements from funding agencies have been a big help especially in providing the capital so some of the businesses could restock for Christmas.
She identified some specific areas where things are looking up.
