Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has announced a major cabinet reshuffle in which several portfolios have been reassigned and several now-former ministers have been dropped from the cabinet.
She made the announcement in a live address to the nation from the Prime Minister’s official residence, Ilaro Court. Ms. Mottley promised to do right by the country at a pivotal time, speaking of the need for the government to ready itself for the challenges of a post-COVID-19 Barbados.
Prime Minister Mottley declared it is time to take fresh guard.
