Night clubs are among the businesses reopening this week for the first time since the shut down went into effect.

The owner of the Cove night club in St. Lawrence Gap, Herman Maloney says the last three months have been tough for the operation but he will see how patrons respond on Thursday night.

He says the club has been busy putting all of the necessary sanitary protocols in place.

Meantime, In Holetown, Owner of the James Town Bar and Grill at Second Street, Fred Hoyos says they too will reopen operations on Thursday night.

He tells Starcom Network News they are also busy working on ensuring all health protocols are in place.

Mr. Hoyos says businesses such as his had been at risk of closing permanently.
