The Bridgetown Port Inc. is fully reopened for business after its operations were limited to handling essential goods only due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Word of this from Chief Executive Officer, David Jean-Marie who says they’ve been able to clear of a lot of the backlog of cargo that was sitting in the Port over the past few weeks.
But he told Starcom Network News that the Port has noticed a decline in the amount of cargo being imported.
Mr. Jean-Marie also disclosed that the Port has waived its storage charges for the personal effects of Barbadians.
