The Barbados Private Sector Association says it’s extremely disappointed with the number of government-owned companies that are not producing audited financial accounts.
Chairman Ed Clarke was speaking on the heels of the release from the Auditor General’s report and tells Starcom Network News that its worrying trend that the government needs to arrest with much haste.
Mr. Clarke says statutory corporation, like a public company, should need to follow the regulations set out to protect taxpayers’ money.
