REPUBLIC BANK STAFF TEST NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19

All staff members of the Broad Street Branch of Republic Bank Barbados Limited, along with staff who provided assistance at the branch during the last two weeks have tested negative for COVID-19.

In a release, the bank stated that staff was tested after Management was informed by public health officials on Tuesday that a customer who visited the branch the previous week had subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Tests were conducted by health officials on Wednesday and Friday.

The bank said the negative test results are an indication that the protocols which it put in place have been effective. The bank added it will continue to practice intense sanitization in all areas and minimize interaction between departments.
