PM announces curfew || Barbados moves to stage 3 of COVID-19 response plan

Barbados reports a total of 24 COVID-19 cases and implements Stage 3 of its national preparedness plan.

A Public Health Emergency is to be declared and an 8pm to 6am curfew for non-essential personnel goes into effect on Saturday.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the announcement on national television on Thursday.

Ms. Mottley also issued a stern warning to those who refuse to adhere to the new restrictions.
