11 plus postponed

Education Minister Santia Bradshaw has announced the postponement of the Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Exam (BSSEE), commonly called the eleven plus exam for a month.

She also disclosed the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) practicals have also been postponed and a decision is to be made on a date for the overall CXC exams.

Ms. Bradshaw told Starcom Network News this morning the secondary school’s entrance exam will now be in June.

She also explained the situation in relation to the CXC exams.
