PM appeals to Barbadians to donate

Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley is part of a Caricom mission visiting hurricane-ravished the Bahamas tomorrow as she announces plans for a national telethon to raise money to help the storm victims.

And Prime Minister Mottley has issued an appeal for Barbadians to donate cash to the Bahamas relief effort.

Ms. Mottley says the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) will open an account so Barbadians can donate.

Miss Mottley spoke of the Caricom mission travelling to the Bahamas to meet with that nation’s Prime Minister.
