Residents in the Bank Hall, St. Michael area are concerned about last night’s shooting of two men at Manning’s Land.
Starcom Network News visited that area this morning and some residents said they are worried about the rise in gun violence – not only in their neighbourhood – but islandwide.
Around 9:20 p.m two young men received gunshot injuries at 3rd Avenue Mannings Land, Bank Hall St Michael; after a number of men travelling in a vehicle drove up next to a shop where the victims were outside, reportedly got out of the vehicle and opened fire then got back into the vehicle and drove off.
A 27-year-old male whose name has not yet been released, received multiple wounds about his body and is listed in critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, while the other victim, a 25-year-old male was injured to the left side of his head.
