The police say that at about 7 o’clock last night, a route Taxi van was travelling along Heywoods Road, St. Peter towards the direction of St. Lucy and a motor cycle was travelling in the opposite direction when they collided head on. After the violent impact the motorcycle burst into flames.
The rider of the motor cycle Chad Williams of Beckwith, Street, the City died on the spot.
The driver of the ZR 31 year old Nikolai Greaves of Freyers Well Road, Checker Hall Tenantry Road #2, St. Lucy was the only person in the ZR at the time.
He complained of injuries to both of his feet and pain about his body but said he would be seeking private medical attention.
At Beckwith Street this morning, Chauntel Davidson, the sister of the deceased, still in tears told us her brother, was someone that everyone loved. He leaves behind a nine year old son and a six year old daughter.
