A Sanitation Service Authority driver has been killed in a collision in St. Andrew this afternoon.

The accident occurred about 3 10 pm at Cleland Hill which is at the bottom of Farley Hill.

Reports indicate the SSA truck was traveling downhill when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle which collided with an oncoming motor car, veered off the road and overturned.

The truck driver died on the spot while the other driver appeared to be uninjured.
