The police have made a breakthrough in investigations into the death of a Jamaican woman whose body was found at Beckwith Street in the Bridgetown about a week ago.

The victim was identified as that of 44 year old, Odith Henriques, who was well known in the Nelson Street area where she resided.

Her naked body was discovered in the yard of an unoccupied house.

Over the weekend a viral video showed the alleged suspect being taken into custody by the police also in the Nelson Street area and the police have confirmed that a suspect is being questioned in relation to the Ms. Henriques death.
