Taxi Operators Cry Out

Business continues to be slow for many taxi operators in Bridgetown, with some reporting there are days where they don’t get any jobs what so ever.

Chairman of the Alliance Owners of Public Transport, Roy Raphael, speaking to the media during a cheque presentation ceremony at which some of their members received assistance from government, that the lack of business is causing some operators find alternative income.

This morning 4 operators received one thousand dollars each from the Ministry of Energy Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Raphael is calling on the private sector to offer some assistance.
