The news is looking positive for resumption of the postponed second one day international, West Indies versus Australia in Barbados, as covid-19 tests of the teams and support staff have come back negative.
The match was postponed shortly before its scheduled start at Kensington Oval yesterday afternoon after the West Indies team manager tested positive.
A statement from Cricket West Indies said all members of both teams and match officials were being re-tested and the results would determine if the match would be rescheduled or cancelled.
Dr. Kenneth George tells Starcom Network News the tests results are negative.
