One man was killed and two other people injured in a shooting just after midday at Bellevue, Waterford, St. Michael.
Police Public Relations Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss briefed reporters at the scene.
The two injured individuals are brothers, one a 13-years-old who was grazed by a bullet in his back.
The other sibling is a 25 year old who was transported to the Queen Elizabeth hospital by private vehicle.
Residents in the area expressed shock that such an incident occurred in broad day light. They say the two suspected perpetrators running away.
