School delay

School delay

The planned resumption of some face to classes next week has been delayed by a week.

This announcement has been made by minister of education, Santia Bradshaw, who disclosed that the volcanic eruptions in St. Vincent have set back preparations here as many schools are covered in ash which has even reached into the classrooms.

She says Caribbean Examinations Council’s (CXC) School Based Assessments (SBA) will also be delayed to allow for the clean-up.

Meanwhile, the CXC Council is meeting to discuss what adjustments will need to be made across the region due to the volcano eruption.
