Barbados has recorded another covid 19 death.
Yesterday an 82 year old Barbadian man passed away at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility after being a patient there for five days. His death brings the number of COVID fatalities to 37.
Meantime there were 23 new cases yesterday and 54 people recovered and were released from isolation.
The positive cases were identified from among the 742 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The number of active cases is 520.
Barbados has recorded 3,163 confirmed cases and 2,606 persons have recovered. The public health laboratory has so far completed 127,571 tests.
