Education Reform Advisory Board A Must

A high-level Advisory Board is being established by the Barbados Union of Teachers on education reform, given the current state of play in the sector.

President, Pedro Shepherd says the 12-man body will be made up of practitioners including the heads of the Association of Principals of Public Primary Schools, the Barbados Association of Public Secondary Schools and the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union.

He tells Starcom Network News that a committee will also be established to look at the new technologies being used in the COVID-19 era.
