There was a brief work stoppage at the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) by security officers.
Starcom Network News understands that the situation occurred while they were processing air to sea passengers.
Reports are that a number of officers requested gloves and masks as part of precautionary measures against COVID- 19, when they were denied they refused to process the passengers.
The situation resulted in a long line outside of the terminal until new officers came to replace them, allowing the processing of passengers to reconvene.
The stoppage triggered an emergency meeting this evening with the management and officers.
