Shooting victims identified

Two men have been shot to death in separate incidents, one at Free Hill, Black Rock, St. Michael and the other at Hart’s Gap, Christ Church.

The police say that their Operations Control Room received a report via telephone about 9:50 pm stating that there was a shooting incident at 4 th Avenue Harts Gap, st. Michael.

Police personnel responded and on arrival encountered the motionless body 32 year old Chad Roett of Proute, St. Thomas.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.

Meantime Police received yet another call around 9:58 pm and an anonymous person reported multiple gunshots fired at Boyce Road, Free Hill, Black Rock, St. Michael.

Police responded and on investigation learnt that one man was injured and transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead while receiving treatment.

The deceased is 30 year old Raheam Brathwaite of Melvin’s Avenue, Black Rock, St. Michael
