A man has been fatally stabbed at Constitution Road, St. Michael.
The Police Acting Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Inspector Stephen Griffith, says the service received a call about the stabbing around 6:55am.
The incident occurred in an area near Queens Park and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital playing field.
The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth hospital by ambulance where he subsequently passed away.

Meantime, residents say the incident happened under a tree where people lime.
They say they have long been concerned about the activities at that location and believed it was only a matter of time before something happened there.
Another resident who asked us to disguise their voice sees that area where the fatal stabbing occurred as trouble spot about which something needs to be done. They listed a series of troubling incidents they say have occurred at that location believes what happened today was inevitable
