The Barbados Water Authority has revealed that over 35 million dollars will be needed to replace water pipes in St. Lucy.

Director of Engineering, Charles Leslie stated that a lot of pipelines installed in the 1950s are metallic without cement lining which has caused corrosion and discoloured water over the years.

Speaking on Brasstacks Sunday programme, he gave a scope of work to be done.
