A Sanitation Worker was allegedly assaulted around 6:34 last Friday evening (Friday)  while on the job.

This is according to the Public Relations Officer of the SSA,Carl Padmore.

Mr. Padmore said that police investigation are ongoing into an altercation between an SSA employee and a store owner in Bridgetown.

Mr. Padmore expressed concern stating that this is not the first time a sanitation worker was attacked and demanded more respect for the workers.
