Chair of the Barbados Private Sector Association, Trisha Tannis, believes government should eventually relax most of the covid-19 protocols that are currently in place.
But she stresses now is not the time due to the ongoing covid-19 surge.
Mrs. Tannis tells Starcom Network News that, as many larger countries have done, the time will come for Barbados to direct its health measures primarily at the vulnerable in the population while opening up the country.
She notes the international trend is to reduce protocols.
