Member of Parliament for St. James Central Kerrie Symmonds has rejected a suggestion that he cross the floor and become opposition leader describing the notion as nonsensical.
Former opposition leader Bishop Joseph Atherley who had crossed the floor after the Barbados Labour Party’s 2018 30-0 victory over the Democratic Labour Party has responded to this latest BLP “redwash” by suggestion that there needs to be an opposition and Mr. Symmonds would be a good choice to provide an opposition voice.
But Mr. Symmonds tells Starcom Network News he has no intention of making such a move.
