Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced that Johnny Grave will be concluding his tenure as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the end of October 2024.

CWI said in a statement that it extends its deepest gratitude for his dedicated service and leadership throughout his term.

Cricket West Indies says it will be initiating a comprehensive recruitment process to select the next CEO.

Cricket is set to be an Olympic Sport at the 2028 games in Los Angeles.

It will be just the second time cricket will be featured at the Olympics, having being played more than a hundred years ago.

A statement on the Olympic website states that the International Olympic Committee approved cricket among five news sports to be added to the list of games featured at the international event. The T-20 format of the game will be played.
