Extensive repairs are planned for the badly deteriorated south coast main road, highway seven, with work to be completed by March of 2025.

In the meantime, a short term fix of the worst areas is to commence next month.

This has been disclosed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works, Santia Bradshaw, at Christ Church speaks, the latest in the government’s series of parish town hall meetings.

A consultant has already been selected to design the work.

Miss Bradshaw also spoke of a more immediate plan to deal with some sections of the road.
