The Alliance to End Homelessness has made further recommendations to government to help ease what it calls a continuing crisis.
The President of the Alliance, Kemar Saffrey, tells Starcom Network News that the agency continues to get a flood of new clients – about eight or nine over just the past week.
Many of these new homeless are said to be women with up to six children.
He says a national meeting will shortly be convened to look at solutions to homelessness.
