Local performing artistes are hailing as a success a promotional tour to New York over the past week to showcase Barbadian talent and music and promote the Crop Over Festival.

A contingent, sponsored by the National Cultural Foundation did a number of performances including during the recent West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn.

Pic-O-De-Crop Monarch I-web, Ian Webster, was in the touring party that also included Road March King Quan, People’s Monarch Lead Pipe along with Saddis and a host of others such as Blood, Faith Callendar, Mikey, Mole, Lil Rick, Edwin, Hypa Sounds, Peter Ram and T.C.

I-Web praised the opportunity for exposure.
