A man has been injured after the truck he was driving overturned and pinned him under the vehicle on Bennetts Road, Sandy Lane St. James.

Police say the incident was reported around 8:06 this morning.

Starcom Network News understands the truck was carrying marl when it overturned.

Emergency services were called to the scene to assist with rescue efforts.

The injured truck driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but his condition is unknown.
