Plans to improve the island’s transportation system are underway.
This was disclosed by the Minister responsible for Transport, Works and Water Resources, Santia Bradshaw during discussions on the Barbados Economic Recovery and Transformation plan in the House of Assembly yesterday.
Ms. Bradshaw said that changes needed to be made, but noted that it would not happen without consulting stakeholders.
She also added that plans to implement a cashless payment system have begun, with the aim of modernizing public transport.
